Description
The Finance Manager plays a key role in Stahla’s financial operations, reporting, and analysis. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step into greater ownership, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Finance Manager will manage day-to-day financial activities, assist with budgeting and forecasting, support payroll and AP/AR oversight, and ensure clean, accurate financial reporting. They will work closely with the Head of Finance and serve as a key partner to Operations, Sales, and Leadership.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage and execute month-end close with accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee AP/AR processes, vendor payments, invoicing, and collections.
- Reconcile accounts, credit cards, bank statements, and asset tracking.
- Maintain accurate financial records aligned with GAAP standards.
- Support payroll coordination and documentation.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Support financial compliance across multiple states (taxes, fees, registrations).
- Assist with financial setup and cost planning for new regions and shop openings.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and documentation.
- Improve processes for AP automation, expense tracking, and internal workflows.
- Support software improvements (QuickBooks Online, automation tools, payroll systems, reporting systems).
- Ensure consistency and scalability of financial systems across all departments.
- Partner with Operations, Sales, HR, and Leadership on financial questions and cross-functional projects.
- Assist the Head of Finance with ad-hoc analysis and high-level strategy.

Within 12 months, this leader will have:
- Clean, accurate, and timely monthly financial reporting.
- Clear dashboards that help leaders make confident decisions.

- Fully managed AP/AR operations with predictable cash flow.

- Strong cross-department relationships with Operations and Sales.
Preferred Talents
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and budgeting.
- Experience with multi-region or operationally complex businesses is a plus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain financial topics simply.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment
- Must have access to and be able to use phone, computer, internet connection, and email.
- Ability to handle multiple computer programs, systems, and communication tools simultaneously.
- Fast-paced and dynamic client and vendor communication environment.
Hours
- General workday is 8AM-4PM
- Weekend work included as needed
